I create these intimate, gestural compositions on silver gelatin photo paper by working physically and intuitively within the environment to reveal the essence of the Marsh on my beloved property in Upstate, NY.

A natural veracity can be seen in these lumen prints. Each one is a direct representation of time and place, visually unique based on the natural alchemy of temperature, humidity, weather, water, and sun at the moment of their creation.
